I was amazed at how thorough Dr. Dean was at my 3 month total knee replacement post op appointment. Since it was my first replacement, he explained to me exactly where I was compared to others at the same time. He told me exactly what to do to continue with the activities I love to do. He found an underlying issue when he opened up the knee and explained the exact symptoms I was having unsolicited. It was like he was reading my mind. The xrays showed a perfect knee replacement. He also told me my other knee was fine and I'd never need a replacement. He said I am one and done! I would recommend Dr. Dean 150%!

Dr. Dean is a very comprehensive doctor and makes sure he describes all your options of what you can do to solve your pain/injury. I have been using Dr. Dean for 11 years and I have not been disappointed once. I highly recommend him to anyone who needs ACL/Knee surgery.

Dr. Dean is a tremendous surgeon. I have had several post surgical problems, non of which were caused by Dr. Dean’s procedures. He has always shown personal concern while adamantly pursuing resolution of my issues.

I have always found Dr. Castro, knowledgeable, friendly, accessible.
He performed two procedures; one a laminectomy and spinal decompression hoping a less invasive surgery might do the trick. But a second surgery was necessary. Fusion of three vertebrae was successful.
Happy to have him as my surgeon!
