Dr. Dean is a genius when it comes to knee replacements. He and his staff, including the physical therapy staff, are kind, helpful, and knowledgeable. I was afraid the have my surgeries but they gave me great comfort and made the process as easy as possible.

Dr. Scott is the best! He is skilled, knowledgeable and kind. He has performed a rotator cuff repair and two shoulder replacements for me. He does not jump to surgery though. He tries conservative measures when possible. I highly recommend Dr. Scott!

I am very pleased with being Dr. Salzer's patient. He is very knowledgeable and most patient. The people at front desk are very pleasant and efficient as well as all the girls in the back. This has been a great experience to be a patient of BOSS orthopedics.

Took X-rays and explain that pain in lower fingers and palm from tendonitis. Explained benefits of cortisone injection and administered it without much pain. Excellent care.

Sorry Dr. Strohmeyer, but this last appointment was both disheartening and insulting. You must not have reviewed my chart and my history because most everything you mentioned during our visit was contradictory to all our conversations in the past. You specifically told me you would not perform any surgery on me because “I wouldn’t know where to start”. So I go to the Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville FL, specifically to its spine surgery unit. After multiple screenings, tests, MRI’s and X-rays, the Clinic’s surgery staff determined that I was a perfect candidate for an operation that could not only significantly improve my quality of life but rid me of my daily pain. Your response to this news was dismissive and your cavalier attitude didn’t help. You told me earlier that no one in this area would deal with my current condition and in that regard you were right. Yes, believe it or not the scope of medical science does excel and thrive beyond Beaufort. And the Mayo Clinic has proved time and time again why it’s a leader in the many fields of science, medicine, and healthcare. I felt strange when you kept saying “back pain isn’t solved by back surgery”. Obviously an entire team of highly skilled doctors, surgeons and supporting staff at The Mayo Clinic think differently. I think I’ll follow their advice.
