Doc is a straight shooter. He will tell you his expectations on your recovery, with you being responsible to get there. Also, he will follow up to see if you made it himself. I believe he actually cares. Always finds a way to get back to you if you have questions.

I came in with knee pain, redness and swelling. I thought it could be an internal knee problem. Immediately I was told it was nothing internal and it was a skin condition. He dismissed anything I thought it might be and told me the pain I was feeling was random and not related to my skin redness. He never asked if I wanted any tests done to see about the pain. I left there feeling very unheard and I'm still in pain 2 weeks later even after taking the antibiotic.

Dr. Salzer was very helpful in explaining the treatment for my hand, and seemed genuinely interested. His wealth of experience is reassuring and his sense of humor lightens the mood. My hand required a complex diagnosis and he immediately recognized the problem.
