As usual, the office visit went smoothly. The staff, from the people at the front desk, to the office staff to the medical staff were very pleasant and helpful.
Dr. Dean listened to my concerns, addressed them clearly and explained the whole process of upcoming surgery and recovery.
I have been going to BOSS for many years now and the quality of care only gets better.

He is the most empathetic Doctor I have. He has done an incredible job. I do not trust easily but he shows his concerns and his professionalism is above and beyond. I wish all doctors were like him. Compassion, respect, and talented at his profession.

Dr. Dean has done some excellent work to keep this aging athlete ‘in the game.’ I’ve had shoulder surgery to repair a severe rotator cuff, labrum and biceps tendon tear, and arthroscopic surgery on one knee, both of which had excellent outcomes. On a recent visit for another meniscus tear, Dr. Dean gave me an unexpected but insightful reading of the MRI, indicating a delamination of the articular cartilage was more than likely a bigger factor than the meniscus tear. It’s repairable, and I’m set for another scope. I’m grateful we have a surgeon of Dr. Dean’s expertise and skill here in Beaufort.

My wife and I have been patients of Dr. Dean for many years. Whether a knee or shoulder problem, he explains everything so that you know exactly what is going on and he is not ‘knife happy’ in that he offers several treatment options if possible.
